Police: 14-year-old boy fatally stabs 18-year-old brother

DETROIT (AP) - Police say a 14-year-old boy fatally stabbed his 18-year-old brother during an argument on Detroit's west side.

Officer Adam Madera tells The Detroit News that the stabbing happened around 6:30 p.m. Monday when the argument escalated.

Detroit-area broadcasters report the 14-year-old was taken into custody. Prosecutors will review the case to determine whether charges will be brought.

The circumstances of the argument are under investigation by police.
