Wake, funeral times set for 10-year-old Gurnee boy killed in crash

Funeral arrangements for the 10-year-old Gurnee boy killed in a crash Saturday morning have been made.

Reeve Mathew was on his way to Wisconsin to a church outing when the vehicle he was in crashed into the median on I-94 at around 9:35 a.m.

He was traveling with members of his family's church, St. Mary's Knanaya Jacobite Syriac Orthodox Church, the same church where his body will be laid to rest during a funeral service Friday morning at 10 a.m. The church is located at 1217 North Ave. in Waukegan.

A public wake will be held at Marsh Funeral Homes from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday. The funeral home is located at 305 N. Cemetery Road in Gurnee,
