Blackhawks' Hossa gets chances, but not goals

OTTAWA - Last year, Marian Hossa scored the 1,000th point of his career at Canadian Tire Centre, where he spent the first seven seasons of his career. On Thursday, he was just hoping to get a point.

Any point.

"There have been chances, but obviously the puck doesn't want to go in," Hossa said. "You just have to stay positive and keep working hard and just put the puck in the net."
