Learn about Schaumburg Park District's new natural playscape

The Schaumburg Park District is hosting a public meeting this month to inform residents about the new natural playscape being built this year at the Spring Valley Nature Center.

The meeting takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. April 14, at the nature center, 1111 E. Schaumburg Road.

The natural playscape will provide children the opportunity to interact and discover their environment. Children will be encouraged to look, touch, listen and have fun while using their imaginations to discover the textures, smells and wonders of the outdoors.

Construction is planned to begin this fall.
