25th Annual Arts & Crafts Adventure

Area Artists & Craftsartists will join with exhibitors from 5 states to participate in the 25th Annual Arts & Crafts Adventure presented by American Society of Artists in Hodges Park,101 S. Courtland, (Prospect & Vine across from Park Ridge City Hall) Saturday, May 9 from 9am to 5pm with free admission Talented Park Ridge Artist Lois Bacarella will exhibit her unique hand-crafted jewelry. Each of her beautiful pieces is an exquisite work of art. Coming from Arlington Heights will be Robert Schmidt, with fascinating photography - his goal is to show people images they have never seen before; Sandy Shwedel also of Arlington Heights will have her beautiful fused glass works; Sabina Szeliga, a popular former exhibitor with hand-crafted jewelry. Coming from Palatine Julie Bold will exhibit her unique hand-made items for the modern mom and baby and Linda Strickland also of Palatine and a popular long-time exhibitor, who From Des Plaines will be Michele Nicole bringing an international flavor to the show. Born in Paris she studied art in France and Milan, Italy as well as at The Art Institute of Chicago. Her exquisite jewelry is very popular. Also from Des Plaines, Zofia Mrowca will exhibit unique hand-painted scarves. Nicole Yuen of Hoffman Estates will bring her vegan hand-made body products while Laura Nigro, Norridge, a long-time popular exhibitor and talented artist in various mediums will show her unique jewelry. will exhibit her beautiful nature photography.

Aurora artists Samantha Phillips will exhibit her granite crafts; Karen Swanberry, her exquisite watercolors and Benjamin Buchenot, his functional and decorative pottery.

Huntley craftsartist Joyce Wold will exhibit fiber crafts including quilting.

Coming from Northbrook will be Izabella Sadura a first time exhibitor in the show exhibiting her hand-crafted jewelry.

Two exhibitors will be coming from Warrenville - Carol Rasmusen with her beautiful glass jewelry and Stephanie O'Neil with her exquisite glassworks.

Addision craftsartist Susan McDonough will exhibit her seasonal floral crafts. Other exhibitors coming from all over Chicagoland as well as from 5 states will exhibit garden arts and crafts, beautiful glassworks, artwear, floral crafts, pottery, paintings, woodworking and even hand-made soaps and soy candles. plus much more.
