Budget meeting set:

Island Lake's finance committee will meet Tuesday to discuss the proposed 2015 fiscal year budget. Details of the municipal spending plan have not yet been made public. The session is set for 1 p.m. at village hall, 3720 Greenleaf Ave. The new fiscal year begins May 1.
