No injuries in Schaumburg crashes, Roselle Road closed

No one was injured in a six-vehicle crash Saturday night at Roselle and Remington roads in Schaumburg, police said.

Shortly after the pileup, a two-vehicle crash occurred at the same intersection just before 9:30 p.m., Schaumburg Sgt. John Jameson said.

By 10 p.m., northbound and southbound lanes were still closed on Roselle between Valley Lake Drive and Remington.

Police are still investigating the crashes but partly blamed slick, snowy conditions.

Jameson called roads a "sheet of ice."
