Darrell Road project:

The Lake County Division of Transportation will host an open house/public meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, at the Island Lake village hall, 3720 Greenleaf Ave., Island Lake, to study potential improvements to Darrell Road between Case Road and Fisher Road in the village of Island Lake and Wauconda Township. At the meeting, officials will introduce the project, present the project schedule, and seek input and comments. Maps and existing traffic conditions will be available for viewing. The public is invited to attend any time during the open house.
