Cruise night revs up car lovers' engines

Entertainment, kids' rides and food were on hand, but classic and muscle cars were the centerpieces Wednesday at the first Daily Herald Cruise Night of the season at Stratford Square Mall in Bloomingdale.

Auto restorers Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle of Addison showed off some latest creations, and suburban car buffs put their vehicles on display.

More cruise nights are scheduled for July 15 and Aug. 19 at Stratford Square.
