Barrington Countryside Fire accepting Toys for Tots donations

The Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District will accept donations for the Toys for Tots collection drive at their fire stations from now through Dec. 15.

"Our organization believes strongly in giving back to the community. We are proud to partner with the Marines to make the holidays brighter for children in need," Battalion Chief Scott Motisi said in a news release. "The Toys for Tots program is an excellent way to spread good cheer to those who need it most. We encourage our residents to help us make a difference in someone's life."

Toy donations will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at station one, 22222 N. Pepper Road in Lake Barrington, and station two, 120 W. Algonquin Road in Barrington Hills.
