Fast facts: The race is the last in the third three-race round in the 10-event Chase. Jeff Gordon won the round opener at Martinsville to earn a spot in the four-man championship finale next week at Homestead. The other seven Chase contenders are competing for the final three spots through a race victory or the standings. The title will be decided by finishing order at Homestead. Kyle Busch leads the points race, one point ahead of Harvick. Martin Truex Jr. is four points behind Busch, followed by Carl Edwards (-11), Keselowski (-23), Kurt Busch (-32) and Joey Logano (-67). ... Harvick won the March race for his fourth straight Phoenix victory and track-record seventh. ... Truck Series leader Erik Jones is making his second straight start in place of the suspended Matt Kenseth in Joe Gibbs Racing's No. 20 car. Kenseth was suspended for two races for intentionally wrecking race leader Logano at Martinsville. Logano was 40th in Texas after an early blown tire. He swept the three second-round races and has a series-high six victories.

Jones has seven victories in 38 starts in three seasons in the series. He also has two Xfinity Series victories this year. Crafton has a series-high five victories.

Matt Hagan won the Funny Car title and the event, and Andrew Hines took the Pro Stock Motorcycle championship with a first-round victory. In the other event finals, Morgan Lucas won in Top Fuel, and Hector Arana Jr. in Pro Stock Motorcycle.
Last event: Antron Brown wrapped his second Top Fuel season title with a semifinal appearance in Las Vegas on Nov. 1. Enders won her second straight Pro Stock championship and went on to take the event for her ninth victory of the year. Doug Kalitta won in Top Fuel, Robert Hight in Funny Car, and Hines in Pro Stock Motorcycle.
Fast facts: The event ends the six-race Countdown to the Championship. ... Del Worsham leads Funny Car standings, 38 points ahead of Jack Beckman. Hines tops the Pro Stock Motorcycle standings, 46 points ahead of Gerald Savoie. ... Brown has seven victories this season.
