Dist. 214 giving a big gift to itself

Whoopee, the District 214 board overtaxed us by $45 million and now they can't wait to spend all the money. Does anyone think this wasn't planned, or did the money just materialize out of thin air? The capital spending will be just the beginning of more spending, which will be placed on the backs of the taxpayers. The pool, for instance, will require more personnel to be hired, such as maintenance and maybe more teachers and coaches with all the expensive trimmings like health care and pensions.

It's Christmas in August for the tax and spenders of District 214.
