Kids find a fun time at the ChicagoLand Kids Expo
Everywhere at the 2014 Chicagoland Kids Expo & Fun Fair, laughing children wore paper crowns, plastic foremen's caps and foam antlers as they went from one fun activity to the next Sunday inside the Schaumburg Convention Center.
Bright Start College Savings sponsored the 12th annual children's event that featured 100 vendors, amusement rides, video games and hands-on activities.
"There are plenty of fun things to do," said Jody Baum, show manger for Tower Show Productions. "It's going well, and kids are having a great time."
Family-friendly entertainment included the Measner Magic Show, The Trinity Irish Dancers and the Radio Disney Road Crew.
"This is our fifth year to come here," said Stephen Sperling of Palatine as he watched his children dig for gold at the Donley's Wild West Town booth. " We usually find new things to do for the kids. They like the magic show."
The Expo showcased everything from educational products, apparel, vacation destinations, summer camps, sports teams and more.
