Schaumburg on Stage flying high with 'Mary Poppins'

The youth theater company Schaumburg On Stage will present its 30th production, the Tony-award winning musical "Mary Poppins," July 31 through Aug. 2 at Barrington High School, 616 W. Main St. in Barrington.

The cast of more than 70 performers ranging from 8 to 21 years old has been rehearsing for six weeks preparing this classic Disney musical. The leads have been double-cast.

Performances will be held at 7 p.m. July 31 and Aug. 1, and 1 p.m. Aug. 1 and 2. Tickets are $15 online with a service fee and $16 at the door. To purchase tickets online go to ShowTix4u.com or call (847) 967-8167.
