Believe Project: $100 to sister who has no income while sick
Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Barbara Mudd of St. Charles.
Here is an excerpt of her pitch:
"My sister was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer two years ago. She recently started her third round of chemo with a different drug. Unfortunately, she had an extremely bad reaction to this new chemo. She was in the hospital for almost two weeks and has not been able to return to work for over a month. She is a single parent and receives no income when she is not working. I would give her this money to help her pay for some expenses she has incurred while off of work."
• The Believe Project mails a $100 bill each day to someone with a good idea for how to use it to do a good deed for someone else.
