Girl Scouts at Collins School sponsor book drive

The Girl Scouts of Michael Collins Elementary School, Schaumburg, are sponsoring a book drive for School District 54's new preschool, which opened this fall. The group is requesting donations of new or lightly used children's books of all levels in addition to puzzles, crayons and safety scissors.

The drive is ongoing through Friday, Dec. 12. Donation boxes are located at Schaumburg Township Library, 130 S. Roselle Road.; Hoffman Estates Library, 1550 Hassell Road; and Elk Grove Hattendorf Center, 225 E. Elk Grove Blvd.
