Fox Lake welcomes the holidays with lights, parade
Illuminated floats and cars were part of the fun Saturday for the Village of Fox Lake & Korpan's Landing Holiday parade.
"A Magical Christmas" was the theme of this year's parade, which stepped off from Grant High School and headed down Grand Avenue to Towne Centre Plaza; the annual tree lighting ceremony in Millennium Park followed. Children also had a chance to meet with Santa and his reindeer, and there was a canned food drive to benefit the Grant Township Food Pantry.
