Oliver, Kelsey lead in Waubonsee Community College race

Waubonsee Community College Trustee Rebecca Oliver Tuesday had a strong lead for re-election, according to unofficial results from all precincts in five counties serving the district.

Oliver garnered 12,864 votes in Kane, DeKalb, LaSalle, Kendall and Will counties in unofficial results.

Patrick Kelsey of Montgomery looks like the second winner of two seats after getting 9,517 votes. Two will be elected for six-year terms.

Emmett Bonfield had 6,293 and Jimmie Delgado had 6,985.

Trustee Daniel Jaquez did not seek re-election.

This was the second time Bonfield, of Yorkville, had run for the board.
