My career long business background in the retail and wholesale sectors as well as my Real Estate experience will serve me well in the trustee position.How would you describe the condition of your community's budget, and what are the most important specific actions the town should take to assure providing the level of services that people want?The economy has created a challenge for most municipalities to balance their budgets. Our current water project has put a large burden on our taxpayers and I believe that fiscal responsibility and transparency is a must going forward. Working with our current businesses and encouraging new business can make the difference in the success or failure of our local economy.Where, if anywhere, could the current budget be trimmed, and conversely, are there areas the budget does not give enough money to?Need more information to make an accurate assessment.Do you support or oppose eliminating the 911 center and outsourcing the service? Why or why not?I support the 911 system in general. As far as the cost, I would have to see the overall impact relative to outsourcing the 911 system in our community before commenting on this issue.What's one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?Economic Development has to be a priority for Wauconda. Supporting our current business and attracting new business to the area will improve our community and alleviate some of the tax burden for our local residents.What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?As a board member we must always work for the benefit of the general public.
