Lake County retired teachers to meet

The Lake County Retired Teachers Association will meet at noon at Maravela's Restaurant at Grand Avenue, Route 59 and Washington Street in Fox Lake, on Tuesday, Oct. 14. The cost is $23 for the group's Fall Luncheon and meeting. The guest entertainer will be Jane Allyson, known in the Chicago area for her performances in shows such as "Tony and Tina's Wedding," "Pump Boys and Dinettes" and most recently, "Johnny Boy's Graduation." She also sings and directs. All retired educators are welcome to attend, but reservations are necessary this month and must be received by Tuesday, Oct. 7.
