Streamwood, V.F.W. chapter hold blood drive

Streamwood officials will host a blood drive from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22.

The village’s blood commission and V.F.W. Post 5151 are organizing the first of four blood drives in Streamwood during 2014.

Donors must be at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. They also must not have given blood in the past 56 days. Walk-ins also are welcome.

The drive will be held at the village hall, 301 E. Irving Park Road.
