Fire strikes Elburn home

A home on Brundige Road in Elburn caught fire early Wednesday evening, officials said.

ABC 7 Chicago posted photos of the blaze on its website Wednesday, adding that the home, which incurred heavy damage, appeared to be vacant. Elburn & Countryside Fire Protection District Chief Kelly Callaghan couldn't immediately be reached for comment Wednesday night.
