Cellphones for soldiers

The Lincolnshire office of state Rep. Carol Sente again will be the collection point for the annual Cellphones for Soldiers Drive. Through this program, soldiers deployed overseas can receive up to 2½ hours of free talk time for every donated cellphone valued at more than $5. Anyone wishing to donate a used cellphone should stop by the constituent office 430 N. Milwaukee Ave., Lincolnshire, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout the months of November and December or call (847) 478-9909 to arrange a pickup or drop-off.
