Messmer to join Park Ridge orchestra in concert

The Park Ridge Civic Orchestra conducted by Victor Muenzer, and guest vocalist Wayne Messmer, will present Americana Spectacular, at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11 at the Pickwick Theater, 5 S. Prospect Ave. in downtown Park Ridge. Tickets are $20; admission free for veterans and active military. Music includes pieces by Aaron Copland, military anthems, music from the movies "Patton" and "Dances With Wolves" and Messmer sings from the Great American Songbook with songs by Cole Porter and Jerome Kern. parkridgecivicorchestra.org/.
