Roskam, have you asked what we think?

I turned on the TV and there, front and center, was our own Congressman Peter Roskam. Only he was not the cheerful "Hi, I am Peter Roskam and I am holding a town hall" whose messages are on my answering machine. He was wearing his nicely tailored suit and perfect tie but he was also wearing a very angry look on his face.

What was especially disturbing was the bullying and disrespectful tone he was using with Secretary Hillary Clinton. Over and over he was trying to get the secretary to admit that Benghazi was a way that she could gain political points. What does that have to do with what happened in Benghazi or how to avoid further State department deaths? Why the disrespectful, vicious tone? Mrs. Clinton is not some lowlife on the witness stand. She is actually his superior. The tone and line of questioning seriously made me feel sick.

Is there no work for you, Congressman, back here in Illinois? Did you think we, your constituents, were not going to tune in to see you beating up on Secretary Clinton? Enough is enough. I and many others in your constituency are done funding this farce of an investigation.

Have you, congressman, asked us what we think? Aren't you supposed to be representing us?
