Letter: Put limits on technology
It has been a dream of humans to think a robot or computer would be able to relieve them of boring, dirty tasks. Most of those ideas stop at that point and never think about the next step - what will the people replaced do? Jobs robots/computers can't?
What is that? They can outperform humans in math, logic and repetition. There go accounting and teaching jobs and many others, too. Where will the people replaced get the money to buy the products and services now provided by the computers and robots? Will humans mainly become programmers and robot repairmen? In that case humans will now aid robots and computers rather than the reverse. Think it through. Limit their use.
