Teenagers report man touching himself near Aurora schools
Aurora police are looking for a man they say was inappropriately touching himself Monday morning near McCleery Elementary and Jefferson Middle schools.
Police said three teenage girls reported seeing the man about 8:15 a.m. on the 1300 block of Monomoy Street as they walked to Jefferson Middle School.
The girls said the man was sitting in his vehicle, which they described as a dark gray or black, newer, compact model. Sources said he may have been watching something, as the girls said his phone was propped up on the steering wheel.
The vehicle was parked curbside on Monomoy facing Gladstone Avenue and when one of the girls screamed, the man drove from the area south on Gladstone.
The suspect is described as a white male, between 35 and 40 years old, with thick eyebrows. He was wearing a blue baseball cap with an orange "C" logo on the front. They said he also had dark-colored glasses, a black hooded sweatshirt, and a black wristwatch.
Anyone with information is asked to call investigations at (630) 256-5500 or Aurora Area Crime Stoppers at (630) 892-1000.
