Trains on Metra BNSF line delayed

All trains on the Metra Burlington Northern Santa Fe Line are operating 40 minutes behind schedule due to an accident involving a pedestrian in Lisle, authorities said.

BNSF Train 1201, scheduled to arrive in Naperville at 6:55 a.m., has stopped in Lisle due to the ongoing investigation. Train 1205 will accommodate passengers from Train 1201 to Naperville, Metra officials said.

Authorities said on metrarail.com that BNSF Railway management have released one track following the early morning accident, but delays continue.
