Schaumburg man gets supervision for revoked FOID card

A 60-year-old man, who authorities say had dozens of firearms in his Schaumburg home, pleaded guilty this week to having a revoked Firearm Owners Identification card, court clerk records show.
Wallace Sollo, 60, was sentenced by Cook County Judge John Tourtelot to two years supervision and fined $514, court records show.
During eviction proceedings last October, Cook County sheriff's deputies recovered 38 firearms and several rounds of ammunition from Sollo's home, authorities said.
The police did not say why Sollo's FOID card was revoked, but they did say Sollo notified officers of the weapons at the time.
