Thank you, all you shovelers out there!

I am writing to thank all of the local homeowners, businesses, municipalities, and agencies who have been shoveling their sidewalks following recent snowfalls.

As a frequent pedestrian, I am very appreciative, as are, I would guess, local dog walkers, schoolchildren, postal carriers, and folks who are trying to negotiate the area in wheelchairs.

It is my hope that more sidewalks will be shoveled as the winter progresses. If you won’t do it for me, please consider doing it for wheelchair users and your hardworking postal carrier.
