Spring Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup in West Chicago

West Chicago, Illinois: April 30, 2014 - Volunteers are invited to partner with the City of West Chicago Environmental Commission to pick up trash and help keep roadsides clean through the Adopt-A-Highway Program. The program provides businesses, service clubs and civic-minded organizations the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the quality of life in their community.

The spring Adopt-A-Highway cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The Commission has adopted a section of highway on Illinois Route 64. Anyone over the age of 18, interested in joining Commission members as they clean up this section of raodway, is welcome to attend. Minors, age 12 and up, are welcome to attend if at least one of their parents also attends the event.
