Fire district open house:

The Fox Lake Fire Protection District will host an open house Sunday, March 8, from 1 to 3 p.m. at fire station No. 2, 306 Washington St., Ingleside, to discuss the ambulance tax referendum question on the April 7 ballot. There will be a presentation about the facts of the ambulance tax proposal and the reasons behind putting the referendum question to voters. This ballot issue will only affect the residents of the fire district not residing in the village of Fox Lake. For more information, contact the fire protection district at (847) 587-3312.
