IRS targeted way more conservatives

Kevin Brewner, on the March 17 Opinion page, says that the IRS under Lois Lerner scrutinized not only Tea Party and similar organizations but also scrutinized "progressive" groups. I am inclined to doubt Mr. Brewner. I am inclined to believe that there were no liberal organizations that were scrutinized. I'd be impressed if he could name three or four such liberal organizations. Even if he could name four, there were more than 10 times that many conservative groups that were scrutinized. Besides, why did Lois Lerner invoke the Fifth if she were innocent? Innocent people don't claim the Fifth.
