Barrington, Rolling Meadows bow out

Lake Forest's Evan Boudreaux scored a game-high 24 points to help the Scouts past Barrington 62-49 in Class 4A regional semifinal play Tuesday at Libertyville.

Lake Forest, which meets Highland Park in Friday's regional final, outscored Barrington 16-4 in the first quarter to take command.

The Broncos (12-18) got a team-best 20 points, including three 3's, from Austin Madrzyk.

Zion-Benton 62, Rolling Meadows 47: The host Mustangs (12-14) saw their season come to an end the in the regional semifinal round as Milik Yarbrough scored a game-high 17 points to lead Z-B.

The Zee-Bees will meet the winner of Wednesday's 7 p.m. contest between Palatine and St. Viator in Friday's regional championship game.
