Chocolate lovers trekked out to Hampshire on Sunday as Ella's Friends, the support group for the village's Ella Johnson Library, held its third annual Festival of Chocolate.
Visitors sampled delicious chocolate creations crafted by local community members, and prizes were awarded in five categories: brownies/bars, cookies, cakes/cupcakes, candy and gluten-free.
Michael Vonic of Hampshire, who was serving as judge at the Ella's Friends Festival of Chocolate, tries gluten-free chocolate samples at the Hampshire Township Building. The gluten-free chocolate was "not as sweet as previous years," he said.
