Get a peek at Christmas past on Kline Creek Farm tours

Kline Creek Farm is conducting Christmas Memories House Tours Thursdays on the hour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 27-28 and Dec. 31-Jan. 4.

Enjoy the house decked in festive greens, savor the aroma of holiday treats and see the table set for company.

Kline Creek Farm offers an opportunity to step back in time and experience what life was like on a DuPage County Farm in the 1890s. It features restored farmstead structures. Historically-costumed interpreters operate the living history farm using the tools and techniques of the past.

Activities and events at the farm re-create the seasonal rhythms that have governed farm life for centuries.

The farm, operated by the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, is in the Timber Ridge Forest Preserve south of North Avenue on County Farm Road in West Chicago.
