Hope Presbyterian Church to host storytelling event on Mary Magdalene
On Sunday, March 3, Hope Presbyterian Church in Wheaton presents a Lenten storytelling event with Megan Wells presenting “Mary Magdalene.
It will begin at 3 p.m. at the church, 1771 S. Wiesbrook Road.
Learn about one of the most important figures in the Gospels. Mary Magdalene was an enigmatic disciple of Jesus, confident and follower, and the first person at the tomb.
Who was she really, and what is known about her? What was her relationship between Peter and Paul, and how was she treated by the men during that time? Join us in this discovery.
