Beavers' race charge unfounded

How dare Cook County Commissioner William Beavers insinuate the reason the tax hike failed is racially motivated.

What infuriates me most is, has Beavers forgotten that the young Todd Stroger's father is also black?

The board respected and worked well with that man. The problem is not skin color, but Todd's inability to manage. He was "inserted" into his position as one of the most disgusting displays of corruption within our city and state, and the more he is exposed, the more evident the truth becomes.
