WACO needs volunteers to help kids shop

Volunteers are needed for the Woodfield Area Children's Organization's Christmas Shopping Spree at the Elgin Wal-Mart Dec. 15.

Volunteers must be ages 12 or older. Students may receive community service credit.

Assist WACO in taking needy children ages 3 to 5 Christmas shopping for gifts for child and family members. WACO provides each child with $75.

Volunteers must be at Wal-Mart between 7 and 7:30 a.m. to check in. Santa and the children arrive at 8 a.m.

You can sponsor a child with a $75 tax-deductible donation. Stop at the WACO table the day of the event or mail your donation to: Woodfield Area Children's Organization, 1450 E. American Lane, Suite 1400, Schaumburg, IL 60173.
