Hurricanes rally to stun Leafs

Carolina's Scott Walker scored in overtime after the Hurricanes scored twice in the final 1:25 of regulation to give host Carolina a dramatic 3-2 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday night.

Alexei Ponikarovsky and Tomas Kaberle had Toronto's goals. It was the Maple Leafs' seventh overtime loss of the season, most in the NHL.

Senators 3, Bruins 2: Jason Spezza scored a pair of goals to lead Ottawa to its sixth straight win, in a matchup of the Eastern Conference's top two teams. Martin Gerber made 26 saves for Ottawa, which started its winning streak after losing a season-high seven consecutive games.

Chuck Kobasew scored his team-leading 13th goal for the host Bruins.

Flames 3, Blue Jackets 1: Jarome Iginla scored his team-leading 24th goal, and Miikka Kiprusoff made 36 saves to help Calgary extend its winning streak to a season-best sixth in a row by beating host Columbus.

Rangers 4, Penguins 0: Scott Gomez scored twice, and the host New York Rangers held Pittsburgh to 5 shots through two periods.

The Penguins' Sidney Crosby was held without a point for the sixth time this season, but fourth in six games. He has only 1 goal in nine games.

Panthers 3, Canadiens 2: Jozef Stumpel and Brett McLean scored first-period goals, and Tomas Vokoun made 23 saves as Florida beat host Montreal.

Coyotes 3, Flyers 2: Peter Mueller scored at 6:25 of the third period to break a tie as Phoenix beat host Philadelphia.

Thrashers 6, Lightning 2: Garnet Exelby, Mark Recchi and Slava Kozlov each scored first-period goals to help host Atlanta ending its four-game losing streak with a win over Tampa Bay.
