Lifeguard class:ŒAges 15 and up may take this class to be certified as a American Red Cross lifeguard from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 23 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 29 and from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 30 at Naperville North High School, 899 N. Mill St., Naperville. The cost is $185 for Naperville Park District and school district residents, $215 for nonresidents. Must have completed swimming prerequisites to enroll. ACT practice test:ŒTeens in grades 10-12 can ward off test day jitters when instructors from Kaplan provide proctored ACT practice tests, return scores with analyzed results and teach strategies for improving scores from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 12 at Lincoln Center, 935 Maple Ave., Downers Grove.
