Red Wings win seventh straight
Tomas Kopecky and Valterri Filppula scored to lift the visiting Detroit Red Wings to their seventh straight victory, a 2-1 decision over the Nashville Predators.

Kopecky opened the scoring 7:10 into the game, firing a one-timer from inside the right circle that found the net between goalie Dan Ellis and the left post.
Chris Osgood made 30 saves for Detroit, while Dan Ellis had 33 for the Predators.
