Prospect presents 'Wild Christmas'
Prospect High School will present Christopher Durang's satire, "Mrs. Bob Cratchit's Wild Christmas Binge," at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, in the school's theater.
Durang turns the traditional "holiday show" on its head. Ebeneezer Scrooge is visited by the Ghost of Christmases Past, Present, and Future. However, something is wrong with the Ghost's abilities to do her job, and she and Scrooge go on a humorous ride that lets several classic holiday tales have it. The play moves on to satirize not only "A Christmas Carol," but also parts of "It's a Wonderful Life," "The Gift of the Magi," "Oliver Twist," and "Touched by an Angel."
Tickets are $7 in advance, and $8 at the door. Call (847) 718-5554.
