To the editor: The Glenbard North Panther football team is not a Cinderella team. They are a football team of young men and their coaches that have had a season high school teams dream about.

Walk tall. I remind you of the euphoria after Whitney Young, York, Fremd, and sixth-seeded-in-the-nation, Mount Carmel. You guys had already won no matter the outcome at state!

Gentlemen, be proud of what you have achieved! You have played in a Class 8A state championship game!

Thank you for giving us, the families, and your school, memories we will not soon forget!
