Detroit pounds Kings, 6-2

DETROIT -- Henrik Zetterberg and Dan Cleary each had a goal and an assist to lift the Detroit Red Wings to a 6-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday night.

Detroit, which has won 10 of its last 11 games, has the NHL's best record at 25-6-3. Los Angeles (12-21-2), which lost its fifth straight, has the worst.

Jiri Hudler, Tomas Holmstrom, Johan Franzen and Valtteri Filppula got the Red Wings' other goals. Niklas Kronwall had 4 assists.
