"Grease!": Showstoppers Musical Theatre cast of Improv Playhouse will perform "Grease!", the hit translation from the Broadway musical tribute to the 1950s.

Directed by Improv Playhouse's Cortney Lowinsky, performances will begin at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, and 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday at Vernon Hills High School Studio Theater.

Tickets cost $10 for adults, $7 for students, seniors or military and free for children age 3 and under. Special rates are available to groups of 10 or more. And $1 per ticket sold will be sent to troop support organizations.

"Oliver Twist" audition: Twist Improv Playhouse Young Actors Workshop will hold auditions for boys and girls up to age 17 to join its production of "Oliver Twist" from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 16 and 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 17.

Training and rehearsals begin Jan. 13. Performances are tentatively planned for March 15 and 16.
