• The Elmhurst Artists' Guild will present "Evolution: The Art of LuEllen Joy Giera" Monday through Feb. 1 at the Elmhurst Art Museum, 150 Cottage Hill Ave. An artist's reception will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 11. Admission to the reception is free. Giera is an award-winning artist who works in a variety of media, including pastels, photography, pen and ink and watercolor. The museum is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays; 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Fridays and Sundays.
