Wonderland of Lights: Clearbrook will host its third annual Wonderland of Lights Show every night, holidays included, through New Year's Day, at Arlington Park, Arlington Heights. The 1.6-mile drive-through show features millions of colorful lights and hundreds of animated holiday scenes. Admission is $10 per car Monday-Thursday; $12 per car Friday-Sunday. Toys for Tots luncheon: Woodfield Area Children's Organization's Toys for Tots luncheon: 11:30 a.m. today, Chandlers Banquets, Schaumburg. Lunch, auction, raffle prizes and entertainment. $40 per person. For reservations, call Sandy (847) 409-8431.

Toy collection: Boy Scout Troop 36 toy collection: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday through Dec. 20 at the following locations: all District 23 schools, the district office at 700 N. Schoenbeck Road and the Prospect Heights Park District on Camp McDonald Road. Bring unwrapped toys to be hand-distributed by the Boy Scouts to local charities. Holiday card program: The Leukemia Research Foundation holiday card program includes cards for many occasions, all can be personalized and customized as desired. Sample cards can be seen at www.leukemia-research.org. Contact Dorothy at (708) 599-5778 to receive a brochure by mail. $50 per box of 25 cards and envelopes, with one free line of personalization.

ALS Foundation 2008 calendars: The Les Turner ALS Foundation's 2008 calendars, featuring art by people with ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease, can be obtained for $10, plus shipping, by calling (847) 679-3311 or at www.lesturnerals.org Proceeds from calendar sales will help support medical research, patient and family services and educational programs for those affected by ALS.

Holiday cards: Marwen, an after-school arts education program in Chicago, is holding its 12th annual holiday card program. Cards will be sold in sets of 12 for $18. Call Maureen at (312) 988-2385.

Buddy shelter: The Buddy Foundation, a nonprofit, no-kill animal rescue organization, has broken ground for a shelter in Arlington Heights and is selling engraved bricks for the shelter's entrance as a fundraiser. If you are interested in purchasing a brick engraved with your pet's name, call (847) 813-7206 and ask for a shelter project consultant. Donations of supplies, manpower and funds are also being accepted.

Crochet, knit or quilt for babies: Stitches From The Heart needs volunteers to knit, crochet or quilt blankets, sweaters and hats for babies in need. These items are donated to hospitals all over the country. Patterns available. Donated yarn is also needed for seniors and children's knitting programs.
