It's time to cut taxes on gasoline

Pre-election speeches have been written.

High price of gasoline is not included.

We have heard most of it. Social Security is in trouble. Medicare is in trouble. Health insurance is too costly.

Gasoline is rarely mentioned. The high cost of gasoline is one thing that Congress could help right now. Reduce some of the taxes associated directly with the pump price.

Federal tax, state tax, county tax, city tax,

Cook County is beating the drum to raise taxes on gasoline as we speak.

Let's elect all the politicians that will make gasoline prices priority one.
