Holiday concert:ŒA "Lessons and Carols" concert features the Benedictine University Concert Choir, Concert Band and faculty at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Procopius Abbey, 5601 College Road, Lisle. For details, call (630) 829-6320.

Softball clinic: Girls ages 7 to 17 who want to improve their softball skills are invited to a clinic from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Dec. 14 in the Dan and Ada Rice Center on campus. Participants should bring a softball glove and wear gym shoes. The fee is $35. Info: (630) 829-6140.

Night for kids: Children ages 4 to 12 can enjoy a variety of activities while their parents take a break during Kids Nite Out from 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 12 and Feb. 9 in the Dan and Ada Rice Center on campus. Activities include swimming, arts and crafts, kickball, relay races, basketball, bingo and group games. Children should bring a swimsuit, towel and gym bag with items clearly marked with a family name. A treat and drink will be provided. The cost is $15 per child per date. Kids must be registered at the door by a parent each night. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. and children must be picked up promptly at 9 p.m. For details, call (630) 829-6149.
